This hadith is about honoring and taking care of one's hair as advised by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was narrated that Hubairah bin Yareem said that he was with Ali when he called his son Uthman who had a lock of hair. Ali then mentioned that he heard the Messenger of Allah say, "Whoever has a lock of hair like this, let him honor it." This means that we should take good care and show respect for our physical appearance, including our hairstyle. We should also remember to thank Allah for blessing us with such beauty and maintain it in an honorable manner.
