Waking Up During the Last Ten Nights of Ramadan

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to wake up his family during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Messenger of Allah used to wake up his family during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، وَإِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَانَ يُوقِظُ أَهْلَهُ فِي الْعَشْرِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib tells us that Prophet Muhammad used to wake up his family during the last ten nights of Ramadan. This is a reminder for us to stay awake and pray during this blessed time as it is said that Laylat al-Qadr falls in these nights. It is also important for us to spend quality time with our families and make sure they are also taking part in this spiritual journey. We should take advantage of these days and strive to increase our worship and devotion towards Allah SWT.
