Giving Charity from Sacrificial Animals

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ instructed 'Ali (??? ???? ???) to give the meat, skin and blankets of his sacrificial animal in charity.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet sent his sacrificial animal with him and told him to give its meat, skin and blankets in charity.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي الثَّقَفِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِهَدْيِهِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِلُحُومِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about giving charity from sacrificial animals. It was narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib that the Prophet Muhammad sent his sacrificial animal with him and told him to give its meat, skin and blankets in charity. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be generous with our wealth and possessions, especially during special occasions such as Eid al-Adha. We should not only think of ourselves but also think of those who are less fortunate than us and share our blessings with them.
