QUICK LESSONS:
Perform regular prayers on time with devotion and sincerity .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the prayer routine of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He used to pray sixteen rak’ahs every day, which is a form of worship known as salat in Islam. Salat is one of the five pillars of Islam and it is obligatory for all Muslims to perform it five times a day. Each salat consists of several rak’ahs, which are units that involve standing up and bowing down in prayer while reciting certain verses from the Quran or supplications from Hadith literature. This hadith shows us how important it was for our beloved Prophet ﷺ to perform his daily prayers regularly and with devotion, even though he was already busy with other tasks such as teaching his companions and leading them in battle against their enemies. It serves as an example for us to follow so that we can become closer to Allah by performing our daily prayers on time and with sincerity.
