Respect animals, Be humble in life

This hadith tells us about the beloved companion of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, 'Ali bin Abi Talib. He narrated that the Messenger of Allah used to ride a donkey whose name was Ufayr. This shows us how humble and simple the life of our beloved prophet was. He did not need any luxurious means of transportation and instead chose to ride on a donkey like many other people in his time. This hadith also teaches us that even animals should be treated with respect and kindness as they are part of Allah's creation too. We should take care not to mistreat them or cause them any harm as this is against Islamic teachings.
