Shrouding the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was shrouded in seven pieces of cloth.

It was narrated from Muhammad bin 'Ali, Ibn Al-Hanafiyyah, that the Prophet was shrouded in seven pieces of cloth.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كُفِّنَ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَثْوَابٍ‏.‏
