EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to take care of animals and not to sacrifice them if they have any physical defects. He prohibited the sacrificing of animals that have broken horns or cut-off ears. This teaches us to show mercy and compassion towards animals and not to cause them any harm. We should also ensure that we are only sacrificing healthy animals for religious purposes.
