Seek help from Allah , Listen carefully when elders speak

This hadith is about the importance of seeking refuge in Allah and how it can be used to avoid taking on roles that one may not be comfortable with. It was narrated from Yazeed bin Mawhab that Uthman asked Ibn 'Umar to judge between two people or lead two men in prayer. However, Ibn 'Umar refused and cited the Prophet's words that whoever seeks refuge with Allah has indeed sought refuge with a powerful one. Uthman then let him off and said not to tell anyone else about this. This hadith teaches us the importance of seeking help from Allah when we are faced with difficult decisions or tasks, as He is always there for us and will protect us if we turn to Him for help. It also shows us how important it is for us to listen carefully when our elders speak, as they often have wise advice which can benefit us greatly if we heed it.
