Life is Short, Hope is Long

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that life is short and hope should be kept alive.

Anas bin Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah said: "This is the son of Adam, and this is his life span at his neck,’ then he spread his hand in front of him and said: 'And there is his hope".

QUICK LESSONS:
Make the most out of every moment; Never give up on yourself or others; Keep your hopes alive; Strive for success despite obstacles

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik tells us that life is short and hope should be kept alive. The Prophet Muhammad's words were a reminder to us all that our lives are limited and we must make the most of it. He spread his hands in front of him to illustrate how small our lives are compared to the vastness of time, but also how much potential lies ahead for us if we keep our hopes alive. We must strive to make the most out of every moment, as it could be our last. We must never give up on ourselves or on others, no matter what obstacles may come in our way. This hadith teaches us that even when times seem bleak, there will always be something worth hoping for if we just keep trying and never give up.
