QUICK LESSONS:
Be Patient & Humble
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of patience and humility. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet said to Ashajj 'Ansari, "You have two characteristics that Allah likes; forbearance and modesty." This means that Allah loves those who are patient in difficult situations, as well as those who remain humble even when they have achieved success. Being patient helps us to stay focused on our goals, while humility allows us to be grateful for what we have been given. These two qualities can help us to become better people in the eyes of Allah.
