Rewards of the Weak and Oppressed; Punishment of the Harsh, Haughty and Arrogant

SUMMARY: Weak and oppressed people will be rewarded in Paradise, while harsh, haughty and arrogant people will be punished in Hell.

Harithah bin Wahb narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? Every weak and oppressed one. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? Every harsh, haughty and arrogant one".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Allah rewards those who are weak or oppressed, while punishing those who are harsh, haughty or arrogant. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Allah will grant entrance to paradise to every weak or oppressed person. On the other hand, He will punish every harsh, haughty or arrogant person by sending them to hell. This hadith teaches us that we should always be kind and humble towards others regardless of their social status. We should also strive to help those who are weaker than us so that we can earn Allah's mercy on the Day of Judgment. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us not to become proud or arrogant as it is a trait which leads one away from righteousness and piety.
