Ask something from Allah using specific words ; Be thankful towards Him ; Turn towards Him in times of need ; Trust in His plan ; Seek help only from Him ; Praise Him constantly throughout life .

This hadith explains the importance of asking Allah for help in all aspects of life. When making a request to Allah, one should say the following prayer “Allahumma-ghfirli warhamni wa 'afini warzuqni” which translates to “O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, keep me safe and sound and grant me provision”. The Prophet Muhammad then held up his four fingers apart from the thumb to emphasize that this prayer encompasses both religious and worldly affairs. This hadith teaches us that we should always turn to Allah in times of need as He is our Creator who can provide us with whatever we ask for if it is good for us. We must also remember to be thankful for His blessings by praising Him constantly throughout our lives.
