The Prophet Muhammad's hadith instructs Muslims on how to interact with people of other faiths. He said that when meeting a Jew, one should not initiate the greeting but if they greet you first, then respond with "Wa 'alaikum" which is an Arabic phrase meaning "and also upon you". This hadith teaches us that we should be respectful and courteous towards people of other faiths and cultures.
