Hair Care of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about 'Aishah combing the hair of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I used to part the hair of the Messenger of Allah behind his crown, and let his forelock hang down".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَفْرِقُ خَلْفَ يَافُوخِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ثُمَّ أَسْدِلُ نَاصِيَتَهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident in which Aisha, one of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, used to comb his hair. This shows us how much respect and care she had for her husband. It also teaches us that we should take care of our own appearance and groom ourselves properly. Furthermore, it reminds us to show respect and love towards our family members as well as those around us.
