EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the healing power of henna. It was narrated by Salma Umm Rafi who was a freed slave woman of the Messenger of Allah. According to this hadith, whenever the Prophet suffered an injury or a thorn prick he would apply henna to it as a form of treatment and healing. This shows us that even in those times people were aware of the medicinal properties and healing power that henna has on wounds and injuries. It also teaches us that we should always look for natural remedies before resorting to modern medicine as they are often more effective than we think they are. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about being mindful and taking care of our bodies even when we have minor injuries or pricks as these can lead to bigger problems if left untreated for too long.
