EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice during his time as a pilgrim or Muhrim. It states that he underwent cupping or Hijamah on the middle part of his head at Lahyi Jamal. Cupping is an ancient form of medical treatment which involves creating suction on certain parts of the body to draw out toxins and impurities from within it. It is believed that this practice helps to improve blood circulation and reduce pain and inflammation. The Prophet's example shows us that even when we are undertaking religious obligations such as Hajj, we should not neglect our health and wellbeing but instead take care to ensure that we remain healthy throughout our journey. This hadith also teaches us about taking care for ourselves even when performing religious duties, as well as being mindful about our health during times when we are busy with other activities such as Hajj or Umrah.
