EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the importance of performing the single Hajj pilgrimage. It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthman all performed this type of pilgrimage. This shows us how important it is to perform this ritual as it was done by some of Islam's most prominent figures. The single Hajj is a spiritual journey that Muslims take to Mecca in Saudi Arabia at least once in their lifetime if they are able to do so financially and physically. During this journey they perform various rituals such as circling around the Kaaba seven times and throwing stones at three pillars which symbolize stoning Satan away from oneself. These rituals are meant to bring one closer to God and help them purify their soul from any sins or wrongdoings they may have committed in life.
