This hadith is about the importance of equality between two tribes in Islam - the tribe of Banu Hashim and the tribe of Banu Muttalib. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked by two men from these tribes to explain why he had distributed a fifth part of Khaibar to both tribes equally. He replied that he thought they were equal because they were related in the same way.
