Racing with Camels and Horses

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised against giving prizes for any race except those involving camels and horses.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "There should be no prizes for racing except races with camels and horses".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، - مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ - عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لاَ سَبَقَ إِلاَّ فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ
