Protecting the Quran from Enemies

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade travelling with the Quran to the land of an enemy, in order to protect it from being taken away.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah forbade traveling with the Qur’an to the land of the enemy, lest the enemy gets hold of it.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect holy books and sacred items . Be cautious when travelling .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should not take the Holy Book of Allah, Al-Quran, to a place where our enemies are present. This is because if they get hold of it, they may misuse or disrespect it. We must always protect and preserve Al-Quran as it is a sacred book and contains teachings from Allah SWT for us Muslims. We must also be careful when travelling with Al-Quran and make sure that we do not put ourselves in danger by taking it into places where our enemies are present.
