Supplication for Destruction of Confederates

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad supplicated to Allah to destroy the Confederates.

Isma’il bin Abu Khalid said: "I heard 'Abdullah bin Abu Awfa say: 'The Messenger of Allah supplicated to Allah against the Confederates (Al-Ahzab) and said: 'O Allah, Who has sent down the Book and is Swift in bringing to account, destroy the Confederates. O Allah, destroy them and shake them.’"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولُ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الأَحْزَابِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اهْزِمِ الأَحْزَابَ اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad is reported to have supplicated to Allah against the Confederates. This shows that he was seeking help from Allah in order to protect his people and his religion from those who were trying to harm them. It also teaches us that we should always turn towards Allah in times of difficulty and seek His help and guidance. We should also remember that He is swift in bringing justice and will always be there for us when we need Him most.

The Prophet's supplication also teaches us about patience and perseverance during difficult times as well as trust in God's plan for our lives. We must remember that no matter how hard things may seem at times, if we put our trust in God then He will provide a way out of any situation. Furthermore, it reminds us of the importance of prayer as a means of seeking help from Allah during difficult times.
