QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other people's property and do not steal from them.

EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith, stealing is considered a serious crime in Islam and is punishable by cutting off the thief's hand. This punishment was practiced by Prophet Muhammad himself as an example to others. It also serves as a deterrent for potential thieves, so that they may think twice before committing such an act. The hand of the thief would then be hung from his neck as a sign of humiliation and shame for their actions. This punishment serves to remind people that stealing is not tolerated in Islam and should be avoided at all costs.
