QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous with your wealth or possessions
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the generosity of 'Urwah Al-Bariqi towards the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was given one dinar to buy himself one sheep, but instead he used it to buy two, selling one off in order to purchase another dinar and another sheep as an offering back to the Prophet ﷺ. In return, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for blessings upon him. This hadith teaches us that when we are generous with our wealth or possessions, we will be rewarded by Allah SWT with His blessings in return. It also shows us that even small acts of kindness can be greatly appreciated by others and can bring great rewards from Allah SWT.
