Hoping for a Grievance-Free Legacy

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) hoped that when he left, no one would have any grievances against him.

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "Prices rose at the time of the Messenger of Allah , and they said: 'Why do you not fix the food prices, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'I hope that when I leave you, no one among you will be demanding restitution for a wrong that I have done to him"'.
