SUMMARY: Allah will reward those who are lenient when buying and selling.

'Uthman bin 'Affan narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Allah will admit to Paradise a man who was lenient when he sold and when he bought".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be kind and generous when buying and selling.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that Allah rewards those who are lenient when buying and selling. Being lenient means to be gentle, kind, or understanding. When we buy something, it is important to be fair with the seller by not trying to get a better deal than what is reasonable. Similarly, when we sell something, it is important to be generous with the buyer by not asking for more money than what is reasonable. If we practice this behavior in our daily lives, then Allah will reward us with admission into Paradise on the Day of Judgment.
