Strive for cleanliness & hygiene during menses

This hadith is about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly when it comes to taking a bath after finishing from the menses. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught an Ansari woman how to take a bath in order to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. He instructed her to use a piece of cloth perfumed with musk and clean the private parts with it thrice. As he felt shy, 'Aisha pulled the woman closer and explained what he meant. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for cleanliness and hygiene, especially during our menses as it is considered impure according to Islamic teachings. We should also be mindful of our modesty when discussing such matters as this hadith shows us that even the Prophet ﷺ was shy in talking about them openly.
