QUICK LESSONS:

Reflect on one's own mortality while living according to Islamic teachings so one can be prepared when meeting Allah SWT .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to show respect and reverence for death by standing up when a funeral procession passes by. This is an acknowledgement of the enormity and gravity of death. It is a reminder that life on this earth is fleeting and that we should use our time here wisely. We should also remember those who have passed away with kindness and compassion, as they are no longer able to benefit from our good deeds or be harmed by our bad ones. Furthermore, it serves as an opportunity for us to reflect on our own mortality and make sure we are living according to the teachings of Islam so that we can be prepared when it comes time for us to meet Allah SWT.
