Sunan Ibn Majah 1511 (Book 6, Hadith 79) #30863
The Prayer of the Prophet Muhammad for His Son Ibrahim

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed for his son Ibrahim and said that if he had lived, he would have been a Siddiq and a Prophet, and the Egyptians would have been set free from slavery.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "Then Ibrahim the son of the Messenger of Allah died, the Messenger of Allah prayed and said: 'He has a wet-nurse in Paradise, and if he had lived he would have been a Siddiq and a Prophet. If he had lived his maternal uncles, the Egyptians, would have been set free and no Egyptian would ever have been enslaved.’"

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prayer of the Prophet Muhammad for his son Ibrahim. He said that if Ibrahim had lived, he would have been a Siddiq and a Prophet. A Siddiq is someone who is known to be truthful in their words and actions. A prophet is someone who receives revelations from Allah to share with people as guidance on how to live their lives according to Islam. Additionally, if Ibrahim had lived, all Egyptians would have been set free from slavery. This shows us how much mercy and compassion the prophet had for others even though they were not related to him or part of his family. It also teaches us that we should strive towards righteousness in our lives so that we can be closer to Allah's mercy and compassion as well as help those around us who are suffering or oppressed in any way possible.
