EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed. When he was reciting a verse from the Quran which talked about mercy, he would ask for mercy. When a verse talked about punishment, he would pray to be saved from it. And when a verse talked about exaltation of Allah, He would glorify Him. This teaches us to always remember Allah in our prayers and supplications by asking for His mercy and protection as well as praising Him in our prayers. We should also take time to reflect on what we are reading in the Quran so we can understand its true meaning and apply it to our lives accordingly.
