QUICK LESSONS:
Remembering Allah during special occasions such as Eid by reciting verses from Quran
EXPLANATIONS:
On the day of Eid, Umar sent a message to Abu Waqid Al-Laithi asking what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite. Abu Waqid replied that he would recite Surahs Qaf and Al-Qamar. This hadith teaches us that it is important to remember Allah during special occasions such as Eid, by reciting verses from the Quran. It also shows us how we should seek knowledge from those who are more knowledgeable than us, in this case Umar seeking knowledge from Abu Waqid about what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do on Eid.
