Sunan Ibn Majah 1251 (Book 5, Hadith 449) #30603
Praying at Certain Times of Day

SUMMARY: The hadith emphasizes the importance of praying at certain times of the day, and warns against praying during midday when Hell is heated up.

It was narrated that 'Amr bin 'Abasah said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'Is there any time that is more beloved to Allah than another?’ He said: 'Yes, the middle of the night, so pray as much as you want until dawn comes. Then refrain from praying until the sun has risen, and as long as it looks like a shield until it becomes apparent. Then pray as much as you want until a pole stands on its shadow (ie, noon), then refrain from praying until it has crossed the zenith, for Hell is heated up at midday. Then pray as much as you want until you pray 'Asr, then refrain from praying until the sun has set, for it sets between the two horns of Satan and it rises between the two horns of Satan.’"

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly according to Islamic teachings
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of prayer and encourages Muslims to pray at certain times throughout the day. It is narrated that 'Amr bin 'Abasah came to Prophet Muhammad and asked if there was a time more beloved to Allah than another. The Prophet replied that the middle of night was most beloved for prayer. He also advised against praying during midday when Hell is heated up. Additionally he said that one should refrain from prayer until sunrise when it looks like a shield until it becomes apparent and then pray as much as one wants until noon when one should again refrain from prayer until it has crossed its zenith. Finally he said that one should pray as much as they want until sunset which sets between two horns of Satan and rises between two horns of Satan.

This hadith teaches us about the importance of prayer in Islam and how we can make our prayers more meaningful by offering them at specific times throughout the day such as in middle night or after sunrise but before noon or before sunset which sets between two horns of Satan . We must also be aware not to offer prayers during midday when Hell is heated up according to this hadith .
