Greeting People with Salam

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ would greet the people with salam whenever he ascended the pulpit.

It was narrated from Jabir that whenever the Prophet ascended the pulpit he would greet (the people with Salam).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ كَانَ إِذَا صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ سَلَّمَ
