EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of performing ablution. In Islam, ablution is a ritual washing of certain parts of the body before prayer or other religious activities. It is also known as wudu in Arabic. According to this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad wiped over his socks and sandals after performing wudu. This means that he did not have to take off his socks or sandals every time he performed wudu; instead he could just wipe over them with wet hands or a wet cloth. This practice was later adopted by Muslims as part of their daily routine when performing wudu for prayer or other religious activities. The values taught by this hadith are cleanliness, obedience to Allah's commands, following the example set by the Prophet Muhammad, and taking care of one's physical hygiene while also being mindful of one's spiritual needs.
