QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudu/ablutions properly according to Islamic teachings; Ensure your feet are clean before putting on your socks/sandles; Follow God's commands with obedience; Pray on time without delay.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the practice of ablution in Islam. It was narrated from Mughirah bin Shu'bah that the Messenger of Allah performed ablution and wiped over his socks and sandals. This means that when performing wudu or ablutions for prayer, Muslims are allowed to wipe over their socks or khuffs as well as their sandals or na’layn instead of washing them each time they perform wudu. This is a great blessing from Allah which makes it easier for Muslims to perform their prayers on time without having to worry about washing their feet every single time they want to pray. It also teaches us the importance of cleanliness in our lives as we must ensure that our feet are clean before we put on our socks or sandals so that we can be sure that our prayers will be accepted by Allah.
