The Ears Are Part of the Head

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that the ears are part of the head.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Zaid said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The ears are part of the head'."
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ الأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that our ears are part of our head. It is important to take care of our body parts and keep them healthy. Our ears help us to hear and understand what people say around us. We should be thankful for this blessing from Allah and use it in a good way by listening to wise words and avoiding bad language or gossiping about others. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us how to take care of ourselves by reminding us that our ears are part of our head and we should treat them with respect.
