QUICK LESSONS:
Perform ablutions before performing any prayer or religious activity .

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Abu Malik Ash'ari, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to perform ablution before performing any prayer or religious activity. This ritual of ablution is known as wudu in Arabic and involves washing each part of the body three times. This includes washing the face, hands up to elbows, wiping over the head and neck area with wet hands, washing both feet up to ankles and finally reciting a short prayer after completing this ritual. It is important for Muslims to follow this ritual before performing any religious activity as it helps them purify their souls and prepare themselves spiritually for worshiping Allah Almighty.
