The Prophet's Ablution

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed ablution washing each part three times.

It was narrated from Rabi' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra' that: The Messenger of Allah performed ablution washing each part three times.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ تَوَضَّأَ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Rabi' bint Mu'awwidh bin 'Afra', the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us how to perform ablution or wudu. This teaches us about cleanliness and how important it is for us to be clean in order to worship Allah properly.
