Wash your hands & face before praying; Respect religious rituals & practices; Perform acts with intentionality towards Allah SWT's pleasure only; Be mindful about being clean at all times; Follow the example set by Prophet Muhammad PBUH in matters related to religion & spirituality .

This hadith demonstrates the importance of cleanliness and prayer in Islam. It was narrated that Mughirah bin Shu'bah said that the Prophet went out to relieve himself and when he came back, he was met with a water skin which was used to pour water for him. He washed his hands, face, then tried to wash his forearms but due to tight clothing he had to take them out from underneath his garment in order to do so. After this he wiped over his leather socks before leading a prayer. This hadith teaches us that it is important for Muslims to be clean before they pray as it is an act of worship towards Allah SWT. It also shows us how even small acts such as washing our hands can be seen as an act of worship if done with intention for Allah SWT's pleasure only.
