Prohibitions on Drinking and Urinating

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad forbade drinking while standing and urinating while facing the Qiblah.

It was narrated that Jabir heard Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri say: "The Messenger of Allah forbade me from drinking while standing and from urinating while facing the Qiblah".
قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو سَعْدٍ، عُمَيْرُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ الدَّوْنَقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ نَهَانِي أَنْ أَشْرَبَ قَائِمًا وَأَنْ أَبُولَ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ
