QUICK LESSONS:
Be respectful when using a toilet or urinating outdoors by not facing towards the Ka'bah in Makkah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade facing the Qiblah when relieving oneself. The Qiblah is a term used to refer to the direction of prayer for Muslims which is towards the Ka'bah in Makkah. Therefore this hadith teaches us that it is disrespectful to face this direction while using a toilet or urinating as it shows disrespect towards Allah and His House of Worship. It also teaches us that we should always be mindful of our actions and respect places of worship even if we are not inside them at any given time. We should also remember that Allah sees all our actions so we must always strive to do what pleases Him in all aspects of life including when using a toilet or urinating outdoors.
