Use a toothstick before praying whenever possible .

This hadith is about the importance of using a tooth stick, also known as siwak in Arabic. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if it were not too difficult for his Ummah, he would have commanded them to use the tooth stick at every time of prayer. Therefore, although not obligatory, Muslims should still strive to use a tooth stick before each prayer as much as possible in order to reap its benefits and maintain good oral hygiene.
