Jami at-Tirmidhi 3953 (Book 49, Hadith 353) #29615
Praying for Blessings in Different Lands

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked Allah to bless the people of Sham and Yemen, but not the people of Najd due to potential earthquakes and tribulations.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Messenger of Allah said: "O Allah bless us in our Sham! O Allah bless us in our Yemen". They said: "And in our Najd" He said: "O Allah bless us in our Sham and bless us in our Yemen". They said: "And in our Najd" He said: "Earthquakes are there, and tribulations are there". Or he said: "The horn of Shaitan comes from there".

This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful when praying for blessings as some places may be more prone to natural disasters or other difficulties than others. We should also remember that Allah is all-knowing, so it is important that we trust His judgement when asking Him for something.
