Jami at-Tirmidhi 3954 (Book 49, Hadith 354) #29616
The Blessing of Ash-Sham

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was collecting the Qur'an on pieces of cloth and said that Tuba is for Ash-Sham, when asked why, he said it was because the angels of Ar-Rahman spread their wings over it.

Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: "We were with the Messenger of Allah collecting the Qur'an on pieces of cloth, so the Messenger of Allah said: 'Tuba is for Ash-Sham'. So we said: 'Why is that O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Because the angels of Ar-Rahman spread their wings over it'."
