This hadith speaks of the importance of companionship and appreciation. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar, who reported that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to Abu Bakr, "You are my companion at the Hawd, and my companion in the cave". The Hawd refers to a pool of water which is part of a larger event known as Hijrah or migration. During this time, Muslims were migrating from Makkah to Madinah and faced many difficulties along their journey.
