Provision From Heaven

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ and his companions would take turns eating from a bowl, and when asked where the food was coming from, he pointed to the sky.

Narrated Abu Al-'Ala: from Samurah bin Jundab that he said: "We were with the Prophet and we would take turns (eating) from a bowl from the morning till the evening. Ten would stand and ten would sit". We said: "So what was filling it up?' He said: "What are you amazed at? It wasn't filled up from anywhere but here, and he pointed with his hand towards the sky".
