QUICK LESSONS:
Be patient and tolerant towards others no matter what they say or do .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the patience and tolerance of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated by Jabir bin Samurah, who said he sat with the Prophet ﷺ more than one-hundred times. During this time, his companions would talk about things that happened during Jahiliyyah, which was a period before Islam when people did not follow any religion or laws. The Prophet ﷺ would remain silent and sometimes even smile along with them. This shows us how patient and tolerant he was in such situations, even though it may have been difficult for him to hear these stories from his companions. He showed us how to be kind to others no matter what they say or do, as well as how to remain calm in difficult situations.
