QUICK LESSONS:
Covering up private parts of one's body when out in public or around other people; dressing modestly; showing respect for oneself and others; following teachings from Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about modesty in dress. It was narrated by Zur'ah bin Muslim bin Jardah Al-Aslami, who said that his grandfather Jarhad was in the Masjid when the Prophet passed by him and noticed that his thigh was exposed. The Prophet then said, "Indeed the thigh is 'Awrah." This hadith teaches us to be modest and cover our bodies appropriately when we are out in public or around other people. We should not expose any parts of our body which are considered private, such as our thighs or chest area for men. We should also dress modestly so as to not draw attention to ourselves or make others feel uncomfortable. By following these teachings, we can show respect for ourselves and others around us.
