Modesty and Private Parts

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that the thigh is a private part of the body.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Jardah Al-Aslami: from his father, from the Prophet who said: "The thigh is 'Awrah".
حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْفَخِذُ عَوْرَةٌ
