QUICK LESSONS:
Be content with what you have , Be mindful when preparing food , Use resources wisely .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how people prepared barley during the time of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). It was narrated by Abu Hazin from Sahl bin Sa'd that he asked if the Messenger of Allah ate refined flour and he said no until he met Allah as there were no sifters for them at that time to refine it further. Instead they would blow it so that the husk would fly off and then add water to knead it into dough for baking bread or other dishes with barley flour as an ingredient in them. This hadith teaches us to be content with what we have and not strive for more than what is necessary in life as well as being mindful of our actions when preparing food or anything else in life so that we can do things properly without wasting resources or energy unnecessarily on things which are not needed at all times like sifting through flour when making bread etc..
