The Eating Habits of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) never ate on a table or thin bread until he passed away.

Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) never ate on a table, nor did he eat thin bread until he died".
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ مَا أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَلَى خِوَانٍ وَلاَ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا مُرَقَّقًا حَتَّى مَاتَ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ
